Thousands have signed a petition to ban Kanye from playing Glastonbury
LAST NIGHT, KANYE West was announced as the Pyramid Stage headliner at this year’s Glastonbury Festival.
The hip-hop artist, who yesterday inspired a new meme, will headline the Saturday night at the music festival. He joins Foo Fighters on the bill, who will perform on the Friday night.
The news has elicited a mixed reaction.
On the one hand, many festival goers are excited/jealous.

Now, some displeased fans have gotten it together to form a petition to prevent West from performing at the festival.
The petition implored festival organisers to “cancel Kanye West’s headline slot and get a rock band”.
The petition has so far attracted 1,314 signatures and a ream of angry comments.
The petition itself has also been subject to ridicule on Twitter.

We don’t think that people are looking on the bright side — if Kanye performs at Glasto, Kim is definitely going to have to schlep through the mud at some point.
And that, our friends, will be a sight to behold.
